(no subject)
ive been in NYC since weds night..
weds night we got off the plane and on the bus to the boys hotel bc we thougth it might be easier to take a cab from there (but it wasnt) and so we saw the TO boys for a second and then we hadta pay 50 bux to get to stern. then we slept at stern it was really nice (the people) but the dorms we stayed in, ehh kinda icky hehe but thats okay, NY for ya i guess.. so then thursday we woke up and then went to H&M and then to spanish class with Ariella Weisz. It was interesting... alittle highschoolie. its interesting to see married ppl in the class but theres also like girls in tight jeans and stuff.
then we went to the Cafe with Ariella and she graciously payed for our lunch and we saw alota random people, plus we found out that Gindi and alota LA people were in town too!
after that class we got into the dorms again and showered. the security there is sooo tight its hard for visitors to get into buildings with out being hasseled. then we went to the other H&M and then to the subway station and took the subway to Yeshiva University (YU) and watched TO play bball and then ate dinner. all the boys are stayin at a hotel like a 25 dollar cab ride away and so we hung with the ppl there but then. THEN. then, gershon called and we hadta give him the cigarretes he wanted us to buy for him. so then he drove all the way to the Heights from Brooklyn (far) with his cousin so of course we hadta hang out with him and thats a whole nother entry but lets just say that we went into the city to a club.
and that i really didnt wana be there that long... but they wouldnt go when i wanted to!!
so we got home to shmaryas at like 4 am. yeah. and then the following day we woke up, went to the games, i know SO Much basketball...and then at like 3 ish Moe Lidsky took us to Queens to Aliza and Kostia's for shabbas.
it was sooo nice. beyond nice. i loved it! i felt shitty friday night, but shul was nice and we talked for long time adn the food was great. then me abbie and simone, oh yeah we met up with her friday, we slept in this one bed like sardines but we were so tired it didnt matter (they offered couches but yeah.. thats us hehe)
then we slept late and ate lunch and 2 other couples came over. all 3 couples are like around 22 years old and have been marreid less then a year and omg they were all so cute hehe.
anyways. we talked for hours, well maybe mroe they talked adn we listend and then we went to sleep, woke up, ate some more lol, and then had havdalah and got a cab back to YU for the saturday night games. it was fun, and there were good games that night.
literally this tournament is like a huge gathering of all my worlds(Columbus, Camp, NCSY, connections between that! ETC.!) or maybe like a zilion jews all together so everyone is like connected to eachother in wierd ways. its so fun, even tho we havent met that many new ppl seeing the old or distant friends is so cool.
anyways today, sunday, we woke up late, shmarya got us buns, oh yea Simone slept over and so many other ppl did to adn they fought! ahh! drama. heh, but anyways we also watched Gothika, me and abbie did at night, and then we went to the 1:30 CTA game and they won! it was so exciting, so many columbus people were there..
and then we went to the city so simone could go bak bc she had to take a train home to new jersy/philly, and abbie returned something at H&M and we saw her sisters apartment (really nice compared to teh other stern apartments we saw) and then we took the subway back to YU without simone and were told that we mised a really good game where YULA (LA) beat MTA( YU highschool) by like a basket.. and then we watcehd the end of the Kansas Chicago game adn then was the OrChaim Toronto team versus the Montreal team and so itw as a big rivalry amongst the fans it was great. i had firends on both teams, but Orchaim won.
later was the Moshava "reunion" which was nice but everyone hadta leave early. at one point i was the only girl with all these nerd moshavaers and shmaraya and the LA boys itw as good times lol, and then i went to find abbie and she was int he Golan restaurant with Montreal and they are really nice, even tho they are all a year younger there gona be in israel next year with us. okay so now we are watchina movie
im mad im missing school tmrw again but i think even if i had a flight today it woulda been cancelled bc LA's was cancelled.
but really how much did i miss? nothing in english, nothing in history, health, or speech, but maybe something in spanish and math.. but i can catch up whatever..
k gtg.. im so bbballed out but i dont wana say goodbye to my friends!! but i do miss bexley, not gona lie, the city is so ugly..
