Some Things Done
My brother is home and while he's not perky, at least he's out of danger. He has to give himself shots for awhile until the blood clot is gone, but that's better than being in the hospital.
I've sent Chula's presents off to San Francisco. We chatted today on the voice thingy on MSN and I'm am truly amazed at how great she sounds. Her accent is delightful and a mixture which make it very interesting. Way to go Net Kid!
I mostly played online today, but I have projects I should be working on.
The pics of the girls & I turned out to be disappointing. These are the ones I send out as mini calendars instead of Christmas cards. Trea & I came out fine, but ZZ looks bad. I did some shots of my own & I thnk it was the angle he had the camera. I asked for a reshoot. Tim's awasting & ZZ has to go to the groomers beforehand so I hope he gets back to me soon.
I ordered my new computer today. It will have 1 gig of memory, 100 gig hard drive and use a 64 bit processor. I'm tired of having to upgrade every year, so I told them to give me something that will last a couple of years anyway. I also have nicer video & sound cards, with extra fans and stuff. There's really nothing wrong with this one other than I've had a lot of things happen & I've replaced & updated it to where it's pretty good. I just decided that I want a new one built from scratch, We'll wipe this one and sell it. I hope this solves the problem of slow boots, etc. Now I wait for about 4 minutes...which is a drag. I know it has to df with the amount of programs that are loading. Hopefully I can lose some of those on the new one. Anyway, that's my early Christmas present to me.
