Things I Hate About Today
Well today is just a real bitch all the way around.
1. I tried to use the stupid photoshop program because I'd like to be able to do some of the things that interest me. However, I can't even figure out how to add even one stupid effect. I'm just too confused to understand how to make the different layers do what I want. it keeps creating a new doc & I'm not sure what it all means. I hate it.
2. It looks like I'm going to cancel my class. I don't have enough students to do it unless I take a pay cut and that just isn't worth it. It's not a big deal on my end, but several of my students from last semester were taking the acting class and I feel bad about them.
3. And aboslutely worst of all: One of my friends died last night. She wasn't a super close friend and not someone I hung out with, but we had worked together at the college and also on several projects. She was a really neat lady and it hit me kind of hard. I had a lot of respect for her and we have had some really fun times over the last few years. I will miss her. She had an adopted daughter who is about 4 or 5 now, I guess...not really sure. I feel bad for the child, too. No one seems to know exactly what happened. Someone had gone over to pick her up to take her to the airport and she was already dead from what I can find out. I found out from one of the Lumos peeps who lives in Vegas and works for the same college system that I do.
