SNOW DAY!
WHEEEEEE! A snow daaaaay! Hahaha, today we had a freak storm and it's snowing. The snowflakes are SO HUGE. I'm not even kidding! It's amazing. Sadly, though Angel couldn't go to work and I couldn't go to orientation. XD No worries, I quit my other job and monday I have orientation and I think tuesday or wednesday I will have training at my new job! As long as the freak storm is okay.
So let me share my adventures in trying to drive in sleet. My new boss called me up at about an hour before we were supposed to meet and said "Hey, the weather is crazy, if you want to wait until monday to come in, that would be perfectly fine." Super nice. And me, I said "Ooooooh no, no. It shouldn't be a problem. It's hardly snowing or anything like that." Let us describe for a moment what the weather has been like today. All morning it's been pouring.... late morning the temprature dropped and things started freezing.... Then it started snowing/sleeting. Sleet looks like snow for the most part, but it is NOT snow. SO NOT SNOW. So, half an hour later, I get into the car, wipe the snow/sleet off the windshield and try to drive. Yah. I fishtailed at 5 miles an hour for the 100 feet I drove... and every time I tried to stop (remember, I was going extremely slow), the back end of my car would completely turn me side ways. Yaaaaah. I got myself back home and called my boss to tell her how right she was and that I would be there on monday. XD
Um... I think that's it for now. Hopefully now I can get rid of this sinus infection. And I hope I can handle getting up so early. XD We''ll see.
