(no subject)
3 weeks in and i still havent made any british friends. its frustrating, living and going to school with only americans. ive been trying to make the best of it, but having no one to go to shows and bars with gets depressing. Im no solo flyer, and going to bars alone was cool at first but now it feels a little pathetic. I miss home a lot, i miss having friends that care about me and get my inside jokes. I say "Oh, hello!" about 30 times a day and no one laughs. air guitar doesnt go over too well around here either.
Other than that i have been having a great time. I went to brighton beach last weekend, and there are pictures but i forgot my camera. im going to dublin next week.
The other night i got drunk behind the hospital that is across the river from parliament where they shot 28 days later. London is an incredible city, and man do they know their lighting. Not much more to report, considering i dont do much more than go to class and drink whiskey and ride my bike. Yeah, thats right, whiskey. its my new drink of choice, considering i can get a whole big bottle for the price of 3 beers at any bar. I bought a double cheeseburger and a small coke for £3.75 today, which is like 7 dollars. 7 dollars for two items from the dollar menu. London is cool and all, but i wouldnt recommend it for anyone without a trust fund.
