it's a saturday night. i'm at home sitting on the couch with my scanner looking for awesome samples.
i haven't decided if listening to the nerds is more/less/equally as nerdy as being one of said dudes. i was really into the idea of http://www.vatsim.net/. it's a bunch of people flying flight simulator flights all over the world in real time being directed by fake air traffic controllers. i found the air traffic controllers voice servers and have been trying to get some solid samples. it's all fairly hilarious.

so i just recorded 2 hours and 30 minutes of police scanner business until somehow the computer crapped out. that'll be fun to edit tomorrow.
