Star Wars and Theater....theater and Star Wars
First, a slightly overdue theatrical update. I got cast in the St. J players production of House of Blue Leaves. I'm Corrina, a young brilliant actress trying to hide the fact that her first part left her deaf from an on-set accident. I'm thrilled to have something to do at home and a show to be in. Between that and town band and occasional writers group plus writing, I should be well arted.
Second, and extremely recent theater update. Last night I received, two weeks after it was expected, an email from Annie of the VCT board of directors. They want me to direct the little kids. Now that the prospect is actually here, I'm completely terrified. And looking at the stupidity of little kid plays makes me feel sick...but there must be something out there. Yet, I'm so excited.
