This past weekend proved to be far more exciting then I ever expected it to be. For one my mother finally got to leave the hospital after being there for almost 2 ½ weeks. That’s a long stay in the hospital let alone any one spot where you can’t get out of bed very much. Even though she was bed ridden and had moderate amounts of pain for the past weeks I can already see signs that things are different with her, it’s like her light is burning far more brightly then it did before her operation. That’s a very good sign in my opinion and I pray that continues as time progresses. I really hope things don’t go back to how they were before with my mother, I couldn’t stand being around her for very long, her voice alone was like having a school yard of children yelling in my ears. A strange event happened while my mom was in the hospital, most nights my dad stayed with her WTF!?!?, my parents started talking about how things need to change with the family. It’s nice to see that they finally realized and are talking about problems that have plagued our family for some time now. Maybe things really are taking a turn for the better~!
In other news the boat races still suck donkey dick. Sure this year I got to go to a private tent that my work put together and I got to eat all kinds of free food but the races it self are fucking boring. I enjoyed every aspect of the day on Sunday except the boat races, it just seems so pointless just like the Indy 500 (500 laps I would go fucking nuts). Watching boats going around and around just isn’t my thing I guess. Jason and I did get rather tan though and that’s a very good thing since “Jekyll & Hyde” opens soon.
