Seriously, I detest UPS.
Parcel was sent to me via UPS.
I got a delivery attempt notice. Tried to call and arrange pickup. Automated voice system directs me to their website.
Check the website & it says "click on this link" only the link isn't on the page you're meant to find it on.
Three failed delivery attempts, two notices left. First notice & "Final Attempt" notice.
Tonight I called and was very annoyed with them.
No, you can't send it to me at work. I work in a high security area and your couriers don't have clearance.
No, I can't stay home to accept it.
No, I don't want it left in the hallway for me. (WTF? Do you think this is small town Idaho?)
Yeah...Picking it up requires a bus trip that will take me two transfers and a three hour trip minimum. Not with the fun there.
Finally we've agreed I'm going to leave the driver a note to leave the parcel with a friendly neighbour who is retired. Here's hoping customer service gal actually sends the message through before they ship my parcel back. :(
