It's blinding white noise that makes no sense in my mine, like eleavtor music. It's the roar of a waterfall as it cascades down the side of a cliff, only to hit the rocks at the bottom, making them smooth and shine like never before.
It's white, then black, then red here, with each color shifting and changing like spots in front of my eyes. I can hear voices, but I can't see them. I can feel hands upon my body, but I can't push them away. I feel cold, I feel hot. I hear the beep of machines, but what are they for?
I don't know. I don't know if I'll ever find out, either, but all I can do is try. Try my hardest and hope for the best, hope to come out of this fog and see again. See what I wonder? I'm not even sure anymore. My mind is a blank slate and everything needs to be rewritten.
Can that be done for me? Neurons in my head are going crazy now, firing off bunches and bunches of images, sounds, the memory of smells. The beeping gets louder. The hands, the touch, the feeling of people touching my skin becomes increased.
I open my eyes.
