Hi,
It's been forever since my last post at all. Life has been a b*tch with a capital B. My father passed a few months ago, after over a month of hospital, alternative healing and stuff. We knew it was inevitable, but well... Anyhow, things aren't settled down yet, but I did write a little, so I decided to post.
Anyway, if it seemed scatter, it's because my brain is. I apologize for the long wait.
Happy Birthday, Love

pt. 11
So, Natsuki found herself once again in one of the Bistro that was famous for healthy food, just the type that Shizuru would frequent. And frequent she did, clearly from the way the waiters in the place falling all over themselves to get Shizuru the best seat in the house, practically chasing other people out of their way, so that the Fujino heiress could get to the seat without any obstacle in her way.
“So, what can we get you today?”
“Ara, what would Shindou-san recommend today?”
The man beamed with delight as he rattled off a few selections from the menu for them. The selection that promised to be delicious.
For rabbits that is, Natsuki thought with a cringe while looking down at the menu in her hands. There was nothing she wanted, so she resigned herself to Shizuru's guidance. Let's hope she order something edible.
When her girlfriend placed the order, their host bowed almost to the floor and the Ice Princess rolled her eyes. These people were sucking up to Shizuru, because she was a Fujino, she knew, and Natsuki was glad that no one seemed to know her beloved girl better than herself.
“Ne, Shizuru.”
“Yes, Natsuki?”
“Can I have a little mayo?”
She watched those crimson colored eye narrowed slightly, but it was not out of displeasure, more like amusement, since the tawny haired girl seemed to be suppressing a laugh. She was expecting it, that was clear.
“Of course, Natsuki can have her mayonnaise, but not too much. I do not what you to cover your food in it.”
The lone wolf, nodded quickly, afraid that if she disagree, then she might not get any at all.
Finally when their orders arrived, Natsuki was surprised that they were very good and not as tasteless and greasy as she thought they would be, and when a small order of her beloved sauce served, the lone wolf went at her meal like the starving girl that she was.
Until Shizuru gave a small laugh.
“Mou, Shizuru,” the dark-haired HiME pouted.
“Ara, Natsuki's attacking her meal like it’s her enemy.”
A cute blush rose up on the porcelain cheeks and immediately the younger girl sat straighter and slow down her chewing. Speaking of enemy, if she saw her meal as that, she wouldn’t be able to eat anything. Suddenly the image of that teal colored hair woman popped into her head and Natsuki shook her head to get rid of it.
Really, her meal would be ruin if she thought that way.

“Tomoe-san.” Tomoe was ready to spit fire at who ever dare to stop her from leaving the University ground.
She couldn’t believe what was happening, Fujino-sama wasn’t going to be in class today and probably tomorrow as well and everyone else seemed to have turned into idiots. Even the professors, how was she supposed to do anything if she was surrounded by these people all day everyday.
How could Fujino Shizuru-sama miss this many days of school? And it was almost her birthday, how could Tomoe give her the birthday present if she wasn’t going to be in school. And the teal-haired woman had spent so much time over the past month looking for just the right gift too. There was another alternative, she could send the gift to Fujino’s house, but then she would not be able to see her beloved Fujino-sama.
This was unacceptable.
“Tomoe-san?”
Magamori finally took a deep breath, and met the one that called her fully, she schooled her face into passiveness as she came to recognize the other girl, Yayoi Miya, another member of the Fujino fanclub.
“Miya-san.”
“Hello, Tomoe-san,” the girl was a bit breathless. “How are you today?”
“I’m doing fine, how are you?” The politeness was ridiculous, Tomoe thought, but she indulged in it anyway.
“Fine, fine,” she seemed to finally calm her breath down, Miya stood up straighter. “Have you seen Fujino-sama? She wasn’t in her English class today and I was wondering if you saw her, you have more classes with her than anyone else… and well… no one seemed to see her anywhere.”
“She’s absent today, Miya-san.”
“OH…” the girl’s face fell.
‘Yeah, that’s how I felt, you people should feel even worse than I do.’ Tomoe thought viciously. ‘What would you think if I tell you that Fujino-sama has a girlfriend?’ She proceeded to open her mouth, about to tell the other girl exactly that, but then she stopped herself. She didn’t even know who this girl was and how long they had been together, what if they were only together for a short time, and what if they could be broken up?
Besides, it didn’t look like that dark-haired girl live around here, distance did not always make the heart grow fonder after all.
“Is there anything else, Miya-san?”
“No, I was just…” The girl hesitated. “It’s almost her birthday and I wanted to ask her something.”
“Well, I’m sure she’ll be back soon, Miya-san.” Tomoe said, making the lie sound sincere. “I must be going now.”
“Oh… see you later, Tomoe-san.” Yayoi Miya gave a small bowed and ran off, her steps seemed a bit lighter now that she thought her idol would be back to school soon.
Tomoe stood there for a moment longer, trying to decide what to do next. Where could she possibly go find out about that girl, that ungainly and barely suited for someone like Fujino Shizuru-sama. She had to be creative, Tomoe decided. It had to start somewhere, but where?
-----------------------------------------------------------
Magamori Tome spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around the school, thinking. She needed to know where this girl came from, she wasn't in Kyoto University that was for sure, but was she even in Kyoto altogether? But if she even in Kyoto, then someone would've spotted them together before this weekend, after all, someone like Fujino-sama was easy to spot, and so anyone that was with her, would've been easy to notice as well.
And the Fujino's heir didn't seem like she's hiding anything. If the way they were walking together on Saturday night was any indication.
So, in conclusion, Tomoe came to, this girl probably wasn't in Kyoto.
Because she had never seen her before Saturday night, and Tomoe had never missed anything that had anything to do with her idol and crush, Fujino Shizuru-sama.
Now, where could Fujino-sama meet a girl like this, she was obviously a delinquent with no manner, so it was not possible for them to meet in something that their family arranged. Besides, she had never heard of any Kuga's.
Maybe, she thought, there was something in Fujino-sama's student record, something that could, perhaps, give her some clue as to where she could start to look.
Tomoe felt a sliver of hope, she had been putting in time as a volunteer at the Administrative Office, after all, that was how she found out about Fujino-sama's birthday before anyone else. All those tedious tasks of arranging and cleaning files cabinet was worth it.
It was going to come in very handy.

“Do you think I should call Haruka-chan?” Yukino asked in a small voice as her phone once again being filled with text messages, and miss calls.
Mai scratched her head with a sigh, she didn’t know what she should say to Yukino regarding Haruka. The blonde bulldozer wasn’t one to keep her feeling hidden, as they all knew, she would loudly announce everything she was thinking to the general public whenever and wherever. So the orange-top knew, like Yukino had already came to a conclusion that if Suzushiro Haruka felt something more than friendship toward her childhood friend, she would’ve said so.
And look at the way she approached everything, they also knew that Suzushiro Haruka would never allowed there to be any 'what ifs'. And Tokiha knew that it was probably why the mousy girl felt the way she was feeling right now. To love someone so virtually unattainable, and actually be so certain about it, too.
“Yukino...” Mai started, even though she had no idea what she could say. After all, maybe the best Yukino could hope for was to be continue to be Suzushiro Haruka's best friend. But they all knew how it was going to be, if the girl was hurting now, then it was going to hurt more later down the road.
“Maybe you can tell her how you feel,” the orange-top suggested. “It might be the only way to make this better.”
Large brown eyes turned to her, and Mai winced when she saw the tear brimming in them.
“But you didn't hear what she said to Fujino-san that night.” Yuniko said miserably. “She meant it, that Fujino-san's feeling toward Natsuki was unnatural. She disapproved of it.” Tears came in two small trails down her cheeks.
“There's no way Haruka-chan's going to accept my feeling.”
“But Yukino-chan, you might be wrong. She might accept it, even if she didn't return it.” Mai was trying very hard to be supportive, but they both knew. Haruka was strong-willed and when she set her mind to something it was impossible to get her to change it. The student often called her small-mind dictator, not to her face obviously, but that was an accurate description of what Suzushiro Haruka was like.
It was a small wonder that Mai didn’t break down and call Haruka herself. She was running out of comforting words, and fast. Kikukawa wasn’t going to budge an inch about any of the suggestions, she was dead set on not confronting her fear, and her most precious person. And they all knew how it could end up, they had example, after all.
But that particular example was now living happily ever after.
Even someone as dense as their resident lone wolf could recognize good thing when she saw it.
Mai thought that maybe Haruka was even denser than Kuga to not see how her best friend felt about her, especially when there were only glasses in the way of those brown eyes. Yukino was not very good at hiding her feeling.
The oranged top let her eyes wandered over to the clock briefly and felt panic settled over her. Mikoto was due to come back any minute now, and she didn’t even start cooking yet.
It was going to be…
Her thought was interrupted when a loud bang followed by a blurry shape of the feral girl leaping through the open door and right at her breast.
