Silent Walk (poem)

I've a riddle--
That puzzles me so--
Much to the heart--
That I've lost all-
To which I love.

You see? I've had her--
In my arms, Holding--
Her tightly, Whispering--
My words, thoughts--
Into her ears.

But she wasn't mine--
To hold or say such--
To her or anything--
At all that would--
Be about Love.

So,--
I've a riddle--
That puzzles me so--
Much to the mind--
That I've not figured--
Out whom I have.

Is this a cause--
Lost to all--
Possible Chance--
To be,--
Or not to be--
Kept in--
Or out--
Of Love?

riddle, dark, love, despair, heartache
