The pica psychical disorder where the victim tends to eat things that the body cannot digest is in fact named after the magpie (which belongs to the genus Pica) who basically eats anything.
This made me laugh when I read it because I instantly was taken back to my NHM 225 class sophomore year with Dr. Raj who was obsessed with Pica. Man, was she a nut.
