- This is a castle - ‘Merlin’ is filmed in a castle - Merlin and Arthur must have come here - BONDAGE!!!
See, the thing is, I kind of understand this line of thinking. YAY FOR FANGIRL MINDS!! \o/
...when the Queen visits the Island, the Siegneur of Trinity is required by law to present her with two mallard ducks. Live ones. Please, don’t even ask. - You know that by saying that, I have to ask. WTF? WHY?
- A Jersey cow is only a true Jersey cow if it was born and bred in Jersey. The same is true of Jersey women. - *gigglesnort*
- A fantastic law: a non-Jersey woman who marries a Jersey passport holder is required to pay her husband rent for the duration of the marriage. She may, if she chooses, repay this rent in housework. Strangely, this isn’t a law which is often upheld. - SERIOUSLY??
- Another great one: a man in Jersey may not knit a jumper during the fishing season. I don’t know whether the urge to knit jumpers is particularly prevalent among men during the fishing season, or even when the fishing season is, but they can’t

*g* Aw, mate, thank you, I'm so glad you liked this!
...yes, Jersey has some very - ahaha - odd rules and regulations. The housing rules are one of them, and I kid you not, that law about a woman paying her husband rent is not a word of a lie. I wish it were!
I am SO SO GLAD this post made you laugh! That was exactly what I meant it to do, so I'm so happy it succeeded!
Fun times WERE had, but then I realised that I was pretty much alone in this castle (I hadn't seen another soul for three quarters of an hour o.O) and it was getting dark, and I all but sprinted for the exit. Wimp? Me? Noooo. *shifty eyes* :D

*g* I'm a total wimp - I went on my own and, it being a 13th c. castle meant most of the rooms were small and a bit creepy, and I couldn't even go into them on my own! Oh, I fail at LIFE. :D
And the thought of being alone there at night? AHAHAHAHAHAHA no. ^_^
