Counting Down
There is 87 days until I go to America with Brett. I'm considering setting up an auto-transfer to my savings account to add $5 a day to my savings account. Doesn't seem like much, but it turns out to be an extra $435! Which would probably come in handy.
There is 86 days until Anzac Day. How fortuitous that it is the day before I leave for O/S. Handy for packing.
There is 51 days until Good Friday. The only thing good about it is the time off work. Hooray for Christianity and it's ridiculous, yet much enjoyed holidays.
There is 43 days until my birthday. For my birthday I would like Brett in a big red bow. That's the main thing I want. Second I want cash (for previously mentioned holiday), and third, I would like a new bike. A fancy pants fast one. I will settle for just present numero uno.
There is 37 days to Golden Plains. Humkpf, we'll see some bands, drink some booze and probably get rained on. I probably wont be able to last the distance and will no doubt get pissy at Brett for returning to the tent at dawn. Again.
There is 14 days until Valentines Day. For some reason I am oddly excited about this bizarre not-really-a-holiday-or-day-of-particular-importance. I think I may celebrate it in some small way for the first time ever. Maybe light candles while eating dinner or something.
There is 3 days until the Woolamai cup. Horses, camping and booze. With possible rain? Good times.
