Has it been that long???

Well, I give you all fair warning. the world is ending.

Alora Celeste Eary arrived Tuesday, 12 Sep 06, at around 12:15-12:30pm ( I
think... I was kinda incoherant and NOT so concerned with clocks at the time).
She weighed 8lbs 1oz and was 21" long. she's in wonderful health, as
is Arlani (who had to have a C-section to get the little contrary kiddo out). "Pixie" is very feisty and is showing a dislike for clothing already (good girl IMO). She also has a set of lungs/pipes more suited to the child of Pavoratti. When she cried during the family viewing, we heard her loud and clear over the soft music piped in from speakers, over eachothers talking, over the cell phones ringing, and (most impressively) through the almost totally soundproof glass. Arlani took the whole ordeal like the empress of champs. I wish I could have stayed at the hospital with her tonight, but I have already missed too much class... I think I'm already having withdrawels from my little girl. *ick* Dear lordz, did I actually say that??? Perhaps there's a soft spot in me yet... and do NOT get the wrong idea, those of you know know me as the "Incarnation of Perversion".

I'm a little disappointed by one thing however. Arlani's first child was born on Pearl Harbor day and this little Miss teased us, making us think she'd show up on Sep 11. buuuuutttt NNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! As a matter of fact, the contractions which were 4min apart STOPPED once we reached the hospital at 10pm on Monday. She teased, she tormented, but in the end we won... as parents usually do.

Now, if you will excuse me, the Sake has kicked in and taken the edge off of my anxiety. I can FINALLY sleep. Also, I'd put a picture up, but that's a "Paid" feature... and I'm too broke and cheap to pay for that. You'll have to email me with a request for that.
