Coasters, Skyscrapers, and a lot of family

Okay I'm still alive for you LJ readers. I'll have to keep this quick because I'm in a random hotel "business" office all by my self in the basement... ON THE MAGNIFICENT MILE! We are staying in downtown Chicago tonight. I'll give a quick overview of the trip...

Tuesday - Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom - we did about 5 hours of driving or so. We got on the coasters a ton and there were a lot of rerides because Hurricane Dennis dropped a lot of rain on the park. Being Six Flags, they closed 2 hours early, from their 8 oclock time. It was still really awesome though and I'm happy to say we did everything in an hour, but we got a lot of rerides.

Wednesday - Holiday World - less than 2 hours of driving - we had a really shaky hotel but it was an awesome day. Again, a lot of rain so people stayed out of the park. Raven and Legend are amazing roller coasters. The best part of the day I think was being the first to "ride" the animation of their new coaster next year, The Voyage. I called Kristin and let her know before all the other enthusiasts! ;) It was cool seeing us on the news that night too. Also, the water park was really really fun and we were allowed to run around the Raven gate to get one last ride. They too closed early, but it was alright because we got a ton of rides and were all tired. Drove 30 mins that night just to find a Wendy's.

Thursday - Six Flags St. Louis - It was super hot and humid. Got on all the coasters here as well except for the kiddie coaster. The lines weren't too bad. I was bad and took onride of namtaB. It was a fun, but different Batman. :) We got rerides on Ninja because we're sick and sadistic.

Friday - Indiana Beach - We now have an insane family. We drove over 6 hours from St. Louis to Indiana for just 5 coasters. Although we could only stay for 4 hours, this is a really awesome park! I love Cornball Express and Hoosier Hurricane, and the shoot 'em up game is fun too! So much to mention yet I don't have time. Great park though, definitely a stand out.

Saturday - Six Flags Great America - Funny... very funny. Whenever I say Saturday and SFGAm in the same sentence, I am telling people to avoid the park. It was packed full of Mexicans. oops, did I say that? It was so busy, we only got 12 rides. Got on all the good ones but it was 97º in Chicago and we were blazing. I met David, a ride op that I talk to on the internet. It was totally by accident, but it paid off when he gave us a reride on Deja Vu, which had had a 2.5 hour wait all day. Craziness.

Sunday - Chicago - ate at the Rainforest Cafe and got some clothes at GAP. I was also hit on by a guy at GAP and he came to work the register just for me. Then he proceeded to ask my dad about where we are from and where exactly Mogadore is (from our Credit Card). Creepy. Then as we were leaving he said, "My name is Joe". And we left. He watched us leave. Very interesting experience. We did the usuals in Chicago and then got scammed by some black guy not even 10 feet out of our hotel. I got some good traffic and night shots because Jeff taught me how to use my camera. What a good webmaster! I also got one of Patrick's drinks from Jamba Juice and it was awesome. I had so much energy today. Other than that, I will fall asleep tonight in my favorite city in the whole world. I will be home tomorrow night, don't anyone worry too much. :)

-Zach, signing out from the Magnificent Mile :)
