No, LiveJournal, my content is not "sponsored by" anyone
I just went to look up an old post to send to someone, and LJ put up a "This content sponsored by" interstitial ad over my post. Sure, i wasn't logged in at the time, but my content is supposed to be ad-free.
So, since LJ isn't keeping what i consider to be their side of the content bargain, i'm pulling out of the deal. Unless anyone here makes a good argument against it, I'll be deleting this account later this week.
I'll be a little sad to see things go, especially since this is how i keep in touch with a few people. But, it's time to remove myself as a registered user in their counts, etc.
