I love how quickly a comic nerd can go from "WAAAAH IT'S RUINED FOREVER!" to "Hang on...hang on...waaaait for it..." Especially me, and especially in regards to Geoff Johns. Admittedly, it's like my feelings about Trickster I: I want to see him back, I'm sure we'll get him back, but I have no idea if Johns can really write him or not. I have no idea if Johns can writer Baby Boomer or if he even gives a crap about the character who was developed by other people.
Also, there'd better be two Tricksters left standing by the end of all this "dastadly deaths" stuff. Gotta admit, I find it ridiculous that Johns is making a stand about death's revolving door policy in comics, but he very first thing he's gonna start doing in Flash is killin' off Rogues. Oy.

Anyway, not why I'm posting.

Any of y'all who read webcomics and haven't checked out Hanna Is Not a Boy's Name yet desperately need to.

This is good stuff. Wacky, dark-ish, fun, fast-paced but interesting as heck. The art style is interesting and lovely, the coloring is beautiful, and the lettering...

Oh dear pants, the lettering.

That is such a weird thing to focus on, especially considering how crap I am about lettering, but maybe I should just print these pages out and hang them up as examples of how to Do It Right, of how to make the text work with the story. Not just tell it like prose, but to incorporate it and make the mood of the words flow so naturally. It's just a think of beauty, it really is.

I'm sad that the archives could be plowed throw so quickly. Now I've gotta wait for my installments...

Still. Go read it. It's good stuff.
