I'm struggling to follow the logic there, monsieur, but I'll just go with it. Could be the late hour, could be my usual delirium where such things are concerned... who will ever know?
You can't follow?alexis_laforgeDecember 6 2006, 14:21:22 UTC
Then allow me to explain. I will steal kisses like House steals sandwiches. Fortunately I can pretty swiftly :D The logic is quite elementary, my dear Watson.

You can run, maybe, but you can't hide! *shakes trident* I'll just have to get them back. (Don't ask me why I have a trident. Maybe because I'm wearing my Neptune High School t-shirt.)
I'm feeling silly every morning! And afternoon, and night, and... oh, that about covers them all.
I will run but shan't hidealexis_laforgeDecember 7 2006, 03:42:39 UTC
I shall stand and fight you (and your random trident!) til the bitter end! Or the sweet end, if you bring me chocolate for after the battle. That would be nice of you.

Soooo deaaaaaaaad. Went to see The Lucksmiths (my third favourite band in the history of the world) tonight. My throat is soooooooooooooooooooore. Did too much screeaaaaaaming. Feel like whiiiiiiiiining about it. But what's to whine about? We were right up the front and we got to talk to the singer afterwards. He's so lovely. He's SO LOVELY. He shook our hands. He said hi to our sisters. He might think we're a little weird. It's late. It's very late. The adrenalin is getting to me though and I just can't stop the typing! I love The Lucksmiths! I'm wearing my brand new Lucksmiths t-shirt right now! I have two of them. Heh, did I mention this is the fourth time I've seen them this year? The benefits of loving a Melbourne band! I'm going to make you listen to them. You'd appreciate them. You would. YOU WOULD! Oh, my lovely Lucksmiths

Prince George is damn saucy!alexis_laforgeDecember 8 2006, 03:57:29 UTC
And will tell you so loudly.
And, by the way, I am a samurai, so I have no fear of your kung fu trident power. I am also an Autobot, so I can transform into a 67 black Impala. Vrrooom. More than meets the eye. Okay, just played my high-nurd card. But, since there's enough truffles, this can be a lovely meeting of hugs, kisses and shared chocolate instead of a kung-fu robot war.

A kung-fu robot war... well, that could be interesting. I would, of course, win because I have magic on my side. But let's be the pacifists we are and share the chocolate!
Also, my mum wants to know: will you take me to New York when I come next year? She doesn't want me to go there alone, but she thinks I should definitely visit it. If you don't want to, that's fine, but it could be fun, you know?
I've got to go to work unexpectedly (always filling in for melingerers!) and then I'm going out tonight so I might not be able to write until tomorrow. Don't want to be late for work again!
Kung fu robot wars are the best kind.alexis_laforgeDecember 9 2006, 04:04:31 UTC
But, since we're peaceful and we like each other anyway, I think that the chocolate sharing is probably the best idea. Speaking of chocolate, I had the most marvelous piece of chocolate truffle cheesecake earlier; it was quite incredible.
New York... oh, dear, probably not New York, but definitely Atlanta or Columbia, which are lovely cities in their own right and places I would feel much safer and more comfortable to have you since I know my way around them. The thing is, New York is 790 miles away from where I live (and impossibly expensive, too), so visiting there would be sort of impractical, and it's very big and scary, from what I've heard.
Work... ah well. Making money, at least, yes? You used a favorite word of mine, though. 'Malinger.' Too cool. Don't fall down any wells and talk to you tomorrow.
That is lovely, by the way.
