River Song

---THE RIVER---
The river song, sweet and soothing, swims rarely through the sight of man. Be as the child, who does not think to be rocked by his mother; only in flowing with their respective streams, find themselves rocked, and quickly sleeping. Do not sing, lest you intimidate and stifle its exuberance, for its wisdom is sung to those who listen only. Like a lion it roars, veiling its kitten paws, which know only how to caress. And like a drunkard, its wisdom rests its head in soft moments betwixt its shouting. Sit silently and let the river sing to you, for it knows only its own melody, and has no interest in harmonizing with yours. Instead, let it flow into you, as it would, as it wants. Be taught, do not teach; be moved, yet refrain from moving.
