I think I have a new obsession... Amigurumi!

I first found them on Lion Brand's free pattern website, the cute little penguin. You can make anything from little girls to emo boys to zombies to ewoks ;). And anything else you can imagine ( Read more... )

[I'm here via benchilada, saw the word 'amigurumi' and wondered what it was so came to check it out. Also your baby has a super-cool D20 toy!]

Yo these are adorable and just so cool! The little Superman is very awesome (and the lil' Link & Zelda are full of win) :3

No problem, that's why I provided the link. *laughs* I love that toy. She has the whole plush 7 dice set ;).

Amigurumi are just the neatest things EVER, imho. I have found so many neat patterns and they stitch up pretty quick, so there's some instant gratification too. I've only made a few so far, but I am very addicted :).

She has the whole plush 7 dice set ;)

Where did you find that?!

I love your little cookies & the octopus is adorable (what is that brown thing beside the octopus though? Also is that multi-coloured thing a cat?)!

Hers were a gift to her father from GenCon, but our local gaming shop, Games Plus, as them too. We found them online in the geekparents comm too, here.

The brown thing is a Gabu (mine's not very good) and the colored thing IS a cat, a Gumball, in fact.

I still stande-by that they are really, really awesome!

What is a Gabu (yours isn't that bad, I've just never seen one before)? Ah so it WAS a legless cat :D Truely adorable~

[and you are to first person (besides my fellow corterie member) to catch/get my Toreador user-pic!♥]

Oh, they are. It's cute when she sucks on the d4 too ;).

Ummm... I dunno! The link there is the creator of the pattern. It's just something little, cute and quick to make. I think of them as aliens myself, but only Roxy knows for sure ;). Well, Gumball as 2 legs ;). It helps to make it look like a fat cat rump sitting from behind, I like it.

Well, I have been V:tM LARPing on and off since June of 1998, so I'm pretty well aquainted with the symbols :). I know a Torie rose when I see one. I'm playing a Ventrue right now, skater punk girl, it's pretty fun. I'm in the lakecountyashes game.

They kinda remind me of Tamagotchis in a way. Gumball is adorable.

I've only LARPed once (and it wasn't even LARP per-say since I don't have Mind's Eye items, it was just me dressed-up and role-playing for a bit, which I usually do with table-top anyway.), and I'm hesitant to do it again since 'the ear incident'. I went from being a young punk Poseur to being a young crazy punk Poseur.

I just started playing.

The ami? Yeah, hehe.

The EAR incident? o_O That scares me.

I love roleplaying. I'm into LARP the most, but that's what I started in. I like table topping now too. I'm "old school", though my boyfriend is more so :).

My 'ear incident' was pretty much me threatening joking about eating this honey's ear and then laughing hysterically for 15mins...and it was in character...What is the scary EAR incident you are refering to?

I like 'table topping', only I do it over something like Skype now XD

Oh, nothing, just "ear incedent" sounded ominous ;).

Skype? I'm missing something, heh. But this does not suprise me ;).

I LARP once a month in a V:tM game in Lake Ct., IL and I'm going to help start and co-run a Serenity TT, which I'm REALLY excited about! :)
