I agree with all of the kitchenware suggestions from dragonbane. I would agree with those below who said pizza pan, but I would ammend it to say pizza stone. I absolutely love the pizza stone that I got from Pampered Chef. Just warm water+scraper to clean = love. They also make excellent stone baking sheets. While we are on the subject of Pampered Chef, their garlic press is awesome.
I would also agree with the crockpot suggestion, but I suggest getting a bigger programmable crockpot. You set how long you want it to cook and it goes to warm right after it's done. I can't stress enough how wonderful it is, particularly on days that you might be entertaining people (gaming ;) ) and you don't know how you're going to find time to tend to Devin, clean, cook...this gets all of your cooking done in the morning when life is less crazy and your place will smell awesome!
We love steaming veggies. You can buy a steamer insert or a rice cooker with a steamer insert. We have done both. This, coupled with a food processor, will come in very handy when Devin moves on to baby food. Make yourself some Asian food with rice for dinner, steam some veggies simultaneously to go with it, throw some of them in the food processor and BAM! Homemade baby food!
