It was a LOVELY evening. If I have to walk home, 68 degrees and clear skies with a glorious setting sun is the way to go. Everything just felt so ALIVE on my walk home. The wind talking as it rustled through the trees, everything cool and fresh. I'd have LOVED to have gone for a walk, but after the shift I had, I'm SO damn sore. I barely made it home! o_O My upper AND lower abs cramped in the mere 15 minutes it takes me to walk home. So, alas, that was my walk in the lovely evening -_-.
Work is a bit difficult now. I'm at 35 weeks, 4 days right now. I seem to be gaining TWO pounds a week instead of one, with a grand total of 43 so far (I was supposed to gain a total of 25...). :P I'm trying to eat better and keep moving, but I'm really starting to just. Not. Care. :P I'm freaking tired. So, the bending over is almost nonexistant now, and I can only restrain cats and small dogs. I can still get blood, place catheters, do all the lab stuff and most treatments, so I'm not totally useless, but I really am like only half a tech now. :P Which REALLY sucked today, since we had one girl on vacation and one out sick, so for a while there were a whole whopping TWO techs in the hospital with a ton of emergencies, half of which needed x-rays, another thing I can't do. :P Hard day.
I'm really clumsy all of a sudden too, and the belly likes to bump into people and things, heh. Makes things interesting. Oh, and cats like to leap off of my belly... it's got some "pretty" scratches to decorate it now o_O.
But I'm home now, and that's a good, good thing. My honey's at the Ashes game, so I'm just going to chill on my own tonight. Not sure exactly what I'm going to do/read yet, but I'm sure whatever I'll pick will be relaxing ;). Mrrow. ^..^
