Aaron's 30th! (yeah, a BIT late...)
So, as briefly mentioned, Aaron's 30th birthday party August 11th was TOTALLY rocking. The awesome Andy picked Dan and I up (after my kewl Wizard World day) and off we went to Aurora. I am MUCHO thankful to him, as if not for him I'd not have been able to go!
There were SO many people there, some that I've not seen in like 10 months or so! Of course Andy and Dan, and Mary, Ward, Trish, Rob, Grace, Sven... I saw Liss and John briefly before she left to go to Karrin's LARP. And tons of people I know from Aaron and Renee who's names escape me, or I don't know them ;). But it was SO great to see so many awesome people. I really needed a good, big social event like that. And I really missed Aaron and Renee - they are so CUTE together! :D And their house is pretty awesome. Totally made me miss Serenity... :P
Being as pregnant as I am, it did seem that serious conversations kept following me. But I kind of liked it, and totally appreciated my friends asking me about rumors and how I'm doing. It was funny to hear the varying opinions on childbearing, from "Eww! No! Never!!" to "when *I* get pregnant..." ;). And talking about relationships and life... it was good. I needed interactions like that. I don't know what life's going to be like in 5 and a half weeks or so, and it was good to know that even if I don't see my friends in a year or so, they ARE still my friends, and care about me. *beams*
I was waiting to post this to put some of the (few) pics I have with it, BUT I lost my camera cord AGAIN :P. So, here's the update, heh. Pics forthcoming :P.
