Belly dance and other events coming up!!
I'm very cabin fever-y. I dunno why... this is very unlike me. I think... heh. Anyway, I wanna get out there and DO SOMETHING!! ;) Hmm... though wandering Woodfield did help... hehe.
Bellies for Life was PHEMONINAL. I had a great time. Saw a few people, a couple of whom I've not seen since college. The performers were awesome. :D Megan's students even performed, and a girl I went to vet tech with is taking her class! Hehe. AND my green costume finally saw the light of day, dancing with a basket on my head, getting additional donations. ROCK!

XMED's been cancelled. :( Guess I'm NOT going there, heh.
BUT... the new info for Tribal Revolution is UP!! :D The Halfa and the Show are $20 each, and each workshop is $25 before May 1st. That might be doable!!! There are some WAY cool people teaching there. :D I'm SO going ;).
There's a monthly hafla in Park Forest: hafla info. I'm not sure where that is, but worth keeping tabs on.
In July Artemis Mourat will be in Chicago. Another show!! Hehe ;).
Chicago Shimmyfest's coming up in late August, though I can't afford the workshops. But I *could* go to the show... ;)
Persephone's Daughters have some workshops coming up. I don't know any details, but worth keeping an eye on :D.
And... Aziza!! :D:D
Riiiight... that's enough belly dance dreaming for now, hehe. I'm planning on tribal rev if nothing else, hopefully with my Megan! :D Anything else is up in the air.
I AM planning on making it to Bristol at least once this summer. And I'm dying to spend a day or 2 wandering Long Grove...
Edit: Oops, can't forget about the pet expo this month and ACEN in May. Wanna do those, and Wizard World Chicago and GenCon in August, heh.
*sigh* I need more time, money and mobility ;). Ah well, I'll do what I get to do!
