I seem to keep oopsing lately...
Riiiiight...
So, maybe I should have looked at the WEATHER before treking out in the cold. *sigh*
Weather.com says that right now it's 8 degrees. Wind chill -9. And windy, with gusts. *sigh* My face and upper body are ok... but let me tell you, jeans are NOT the best protection against the cold. My legs hurt - they were tingly outside, and now they are an angry red. :P Oops.
But, I got 3 different sized needles and some yarn, pretty cheap. I'm going to thaw, take a hot shower, have some hot tea, then knit myself a warm ass scarf.
I'll tell you... I'm a little scared about walking home from work. If it's -9 smack in the middle of a super bright and sunny day, what do you think it's going to be like at 5am? Yeesh...
Lesson learned. No more walking till spring. :P
