Scheduling conflicts

Oh, ok, there's something else. And I say this out of pure practicality.

I work 12 hour shifts, so other than when I'm being STUPID, I can't really do anything on my days ON. That means that there are 4 days that I'm booked, then there are 4 days off, 3 work, then 3 free. Etc, etc. But I keep to my night schedule, as it's easier on my body that way. So my days OFF book up pretty quick with plans.

SO, if people wanna do things with me, I need notice. Definitely more than a day. Preferibly more than a week, cause usually by the time I'm working the next off days are already packed. Two or more weeks is really best. Also, I usually wake up around 3pm. I *can* get up earlier, but I may be groggy and/or crabby, depending on if it's, say, a Wed versus a Friday. Anything before noon? RIGHT out.

I'm trying to use my planner more also, so as not to double or triple book (like this Sat... *sigh*). But if we DO have plans, reminders are also not a bad idea ;).

I feel like I'm being snooty or something, but I just have a REALLY hard schedule right now, and with things like belly dance and the Serenity RPG as perminant residents in my schedule, it takes some work and balance to do all the crap I wanna. Then someone calls and wants to do something the next day, or e-mails about Sat that Monday, and I'm alreadying doing X or Y.

I'm crazy. I know. I just wanted to say something, since I think people might be getting upset with me. I'm sorry... I've never been the best at keeping things straight. *sigh* I love you guys, and wanna keep having plans to see all of you. I just need some help, if possible. Er, uh... thank you. *falls over*

plan, friends, schedule
