WAY cool. I like that. Always did like the interests memetype things.
No word from me in a while - I'm feeling kinda crazy. I feel like I'm really busy doing nothing. :P Since on these on days I work 12 hours, I'm kinda robbed of getting anything done Sat or Sun-Tues. Then my Wed-Fri or Sat just FLY by, lightning speed. And since I'm pretty much on the opposite schedule of everyone else, by the time it's like 2am I kinda just putz online or doing silly things since no one else's up... but I neer do anything constructive from 2am-6 or 7am. Bah.
The short version: Wed was the ST meeting. It went well, though for some unnamable reason I still feel slight trepidation. Possibly more on this later, if I'm feeling wordy. After that Albie came over and we goofed off and played on our DS's till like 6am.
Thursday was Serenity, the whole group meeting and then the game. I think it went well, but this weird Spring-Fever fuzziness that has gripped my brain is preventing me from thinking it through more than that. I gotta ditch the fuzz, since I think I owe Sven and e-mail, and I need to work on the ST folder and my own plot that's next.
Friday was Dr. Vikki's birthday. Matt made a cake for her, an ice scate with the Detroit Redwings symbol on it. So I had to be at GRAH at noon for the cake thing. :P After that Matt and I wandered the mall, somewhat constructively actually. Ran into a step-cousin (do to Dad's marriage), a new guy that's become a fast friend, and found that Blarney (where I got my wedding bands) is now just a kiosk called Isish Boutique. Looked around for dance clothes too, but didn't find much.
That night we went and hung out with Mom, Moe and Albie at Mom's place. We snacked healthy, played with Mom's new DVD recorder, and I taped a BUNCH of new dance workouts from her On Demand thing into a DVD ;). Then Matt, Albie and I stood up till dawn playing our DS's again, cause they are fun ;).
Sat - now: work. Been ok. It's slowly getting busier. I'm kinda dreading it... soon gome will be the days of sitting and reading 4 comics and a couple chapters of romance while watching animals, the hospital clean. Soon we'll be scrambling to finish treatments, treat incoming patients AND get maybe half the chores done. :P Not looking forward to it.
Beyond that I've been very wrapped up in belly dance and the internet, a lot of that together ;). My WW subscription ends in a couple of days, and I need to contact them to get off the page before I get auto-renewed. I've been snagging articles and recipies to help keep me on track even while off the paid WW page.
I'm also COMPLETELY obsessed with Tribe.net. I'm Basinah, which I'd chosen to be my screen name. :D I've only got a couple of friends, but they are COOL ;). And there are SO many interesting tribes (like comms here) that I'm spending WAY too much time there, heh.
So between WW, belly dance, Tribe.net and attempting to keep up here and with my e-mail, I've been online a LOT. Not including old obcessions like the Wikipedia... I was asking about MySpace because a couple of people'd mentioned it, and that it was a good way to find people you'd not seen in a while, but concidering my current net time and my new Tribe.net addiction, plus the plethora of "it sucks" reviews, I think 'll just keep my happy little butt here. If people REALLY wanna find me again, they will.
I wanna do more off line things, like knitting and writing, and there are a couple of things I need to do too (still haven't called WB yet...) :P. You know, the day needs to be longer, AND I need to need less sleep. Yes. I'm losing an hour here next weekend too. Bah!
Right, so, off to play more on Tribe.net and poke around WW a little more before bed. ;)
