A week in review
Last week was ok. Not too much to Devin was constipated all week, it sucked. Friday we had dinner with her grandparents. Saturday morning Devin and I saw How to Train Your Dragon. It's REALLY cute!! I'm going to own that movie ;). Devn sat through the WHOLE thing too, including the 20 minutes of previews. I'm so proud of her. She got excited during the Shrek 4 preview :). And *I* got all excited during the Last Airbender preview :D. Sat afternoon we went to Babmi's son Daniel's 3rd birthday. She had a painful poop there, but otherwise it was a smashing success and we had a TON of fun.
Easter morning Devin woke coughing :P. Albie, Devin and I went to Papadeaux for brunch, which was AWESOME. The waffles were amazing, the fruit fabulous, the salmon super yummy... and I learned that I don't like gumbo but I do like jumbalaya, *especially* if it has lobster in it :). After that her daddy came and got her, so Albie and I just chilled. Zach came over and we had Giordano's pizza delivered. MORE yummy!! ;) Devin came home still constipated, so it was very hard to get her down for the night.
Monday was the worst day ever. Work was hard because of some temporary staffing issues. I was talking to the ped on my way home about Devin's constipation and missed my exit. I HATE getting lost, even with my GPS, so that made me crabby. I drove by some accidents, which made me nervous. I was late for Devin's photo appointment. While trying to make dinner I knocked Devin's dyed holow eggs all over the floor where they shattered. And after I'd finally made the chicken Devin knocked it all over the floor. At that point I had to call my mom; I was a complete mess. She came over and helped me take care of Devin until bedtime.
Today was ok. MUCH better than yesterday, but it was completely exhausting. There were a bunch of accidents again this morning and a bunch of stopped cars this afternoon... kinda scary. I'm just too pooped, so I'm not at belly dance today. I've got to crochet and to cover. I'm making a commishioned pie set that needs to be done Friday afternoon, so I'm trying to, you know, finish it :). OK, off to be productive. More later!
