Holiday spirits
As "bah humbug" as I've been feeling all month and after all the ice picking I had to do this morning, I think a Christmas spirit was with me today. I:
1. Got out of work at 1pm! I even *finished* all my work, which was exciting.
2. Got *great* parking at Target. I got my few items, then got into the LONG line. An employee saw my few items and grabbed me to checkout at the help desk.
3. Found a GREAT sweater at Old Navy. It wasn't on sale; the sale one didn't look nearly as good on me. I was chatting to an employee at the front about how much I loved the sweater and she gave me a 30% off coupon that another customer left! So I got the sweater I loved for the same price as the sale one. I also got a great green button-down for X-Mas fam stuffs.
4. Got the newest issue of Crochet Today at the new Hobby Lobby right by me. I need to subscribe... I again got good parking, and I got to drool at the ISLES of yummy, yummy yarn.
5. There was a gas pump available immediately. AND I was able to get right back onto Golf, turning left, AND the light at Valley Lake was green, AND there was a super close parking spot available.
I've been losing things, my brand new super warm mittens and my Harry Potter Exhibition keychain, so this almost felt like it was making up for it. It was a good day, AND I was home *before* 4:30, earlier than on a normal Thursday. AND I'm off tomorrow, which is super exciting (I work New Year's), and off Monday, cause I had a vacation day! Woo hoo for a long weekend :D.
OK... I'm really tired still but I've GOT to try to be at least a little constructive. I've got laundry to put away and no one's gift is done... so I'm off! Later, yo, and happy holidays.
