Ugg... I had such high hopes for today, but it kinda seemed like a one step forward, 2 steps back kinda day. Though that's not entirely fair, I think it was more like 2 forward, 1 back. Clean is only ever a temporary state. If Devin doesn't get ya, entropy will. Granted, Devin does work a lot faster than the inexorable march of time, but the thought may bring comfort of a sort.

Well, this is true regardless, but when I'm involved I tend to increase entropy ;). I lean toward messy. Add devin into the mix and we're downright chaotic ;).

In that case, indulge your chaotic effects and take entropy to its inevitable end: the tidiness on the other side of mess.

Of course, that would technically be the Apocalypse, but...

While I *could* see that happening in my apartment, something in me thinks that maybe I *shouldn't* encourage that here. If nothing else then that would stymy Devin's growth and development. ;)

While I don't think there's any force on Earth that can stop a child from being messy, I do see your point. Maybe heat death isn't the way to go.

I assume you're already teaching her to tidy as she goes? Finish up with something and put it back in its box/drawer/candle-lit Gothic crypt? It'll at least lessen her chores.

Since I already lean toward clutter/entropy I'm not exactly on top of teaching HER to pick up, but she is good about picking up things and putting them places when I ask her to. I need to set a better example...
