There's, like, a lof of stuff I wanna do but my mind's going at like a million miles a minute and I can't quite think straight enough or concentrate for long enough to get much done on any 1 project. I think I know what jumping beans feel like o_O. It's like time is literally slipping away from me.
*deep breath*
I did get a couple things done - paid some bills, registered for Tribal Rev workshops, saved the icons from my old
homepage before Yahoo! yanks the old home pages, uploaded Devin's newest professional pics to her
photobucket. But there's stuff I should be doing OFF the 'puter too.
I DID go to
Free Comic Book Day today, picked up the rest of April's comics and got some free ones too :). Hey, that's important! I recorded said comics and read some of my newspaper. I scooped litter, though it REALLY needs to be changed. Gotta buy some tomorrow. But the apartment's still a mess and there's laundry to do and I'm sure there are other things, oh, like hair falls and Devin's blanket o_O. And I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting something...
I should go to bed... I went out dancing last night at Heat and so I didn't sleep much last night. Though for some reason I don't want to, heh. I gotta work tomorrow though, prolly shouldn't be a zombie. That's not as productive.
I just hate that feeling that I should be doing something... but I don't know what?!
Ah well, for the curious, this is what I'm taking at Tribal Rev:
Sharon Moore: Zills--They're not just for Triplets!
Are your zills stuck in a triples rut? Do you feel like you "gallop" along with no end in sight? In this workshop, we will explore a broad swath of rhythms and work as a group to playfully jam rhythmically, as well as look at a couple creative ways we can utilize different zill patterns in an improvisational format. Teachers will get a chance to try some new techniques for introducing rhythms to their students, and students will get a look at other ways to play with your zills beyond interminable 1-2-3!
Urban Gypsy: Gahwazee Influenced Improvisational Tribal Style (ITS) Vocabulary
Take the dance back to its roots! Inspired by the folk dances of Upper Egypt, Urban Gypsy brings you a "brand new" (but really old!) vocabulary of sassy and earthy movement combinations from their time spent with the Gahwazee and folk dancers in Cairo in 2006. Hearken back to the days of dancing in the desert with Urban Gypsy. Don't forget your zills!
Artemis Mourat: Theatricallized Skirt dance Movements
Learn to incorporate some Rromany (Gyspy) gestures from different Rromany cultures and non - Rromany dance material into your skirt dancing.
