Update - BUSY!
I've been REALLY busy, so I've not been online much. Yup... call the presses! I've been skimming LJ and Facebook, but I have been DOING so much I've not had time for the internet. Hell, I've not had time to even play with any of my presents either, heh.
I guess it's only been 2 days since I posted, but it feels like a week. I've been packing and packing, cleaning, caring for a sick baby, running errands, and packing. Devin's fever is back, mild, but she's warm. She's been very clingie and hungry and whiney. I think she has a cold, is having a growth spurt AND I discovered yesterday that she's cutting another molar, an upper left one this time. I can see the tooth, so either it just cut or it's about to. We've been giving baby tylanol and teething tablets pretty regularly since yesturday AM. But she wanders around pulling at her mouth, tugging at her legs, and not really knowing exactly what she wants.
Joy.
So the packing is going, slowly but surely. I still need help Jan 9th - Jan 13th, so that's freaking me out a little. I need to send some e-mails and make some phone calls... I'm feeling seriously overwhelmed again, though I'm trying to take baby steps and things ARE getting done, slowly. Paying bills, gotta renew my CVT license, forwarding mail, all that fun stuff. Friends coming over to distract the baby has been rediculously helpful too. I'm just THRILLED that the holidays are over. Once I'm in the new place I can breathe again.
I did have a lovely belly dance class yesterday. FINALLY!! We'd been snowed out 2 weeks in a row then there was no class x-mas week, so it was glorious to get back into it, especially after pole dancing kicked the everliving snot outta me ;). It WAS snowing when we got outta class o_O, but at least we were able to HAVE class, hehe. I'm sore today, but it's an old familiar sore and I'm relishing it. We had a new girl too, which is always fun. I'm not sure if she's coming back... she was a little odd... but it was totally a good time. And my Dad got to watch Devin, so that was good.
OK, so this little break should be over. Gotta shower and then get back to the grind. Since Devin's all over the place she's been sleeping more too, so she's already been napping for a half hour. Gotta take advantage. Peace out, and happy new year's eve.
