RAIN?!
See? Unseasonably warm weather is DANGEROUS!! The Great Molasses Flood of 1919...
So... yeah. Last Winter I distinctly remember being all, woah, so much snow, more than I've never seen!! Well, I'd GLADLY have all that back o_O. THIS year it's been snow, thaw, rain, freeze, ice, snow, RAIN, INTENSE PEA SOUP FOG (that was CRAZY last night, there was no visibility, it really WAS like driving right in the middle of a cloud), slush, rain... It's currently 53 degrees and pouring outside. Lots of flood warnings. Weatherbug says it's to be high in the MID 60's TODAY o_O. 2 days after X-Mas. Tomorrow? Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 30s. o_O No WONDER I can't get better, no wonder everyone's sick as dogs :P. Srsly. I am TERRIFIED of this all freezing over again.
Love snow. HATE ice :P. Madness. And... I fear the worst ;).
So, the holidays have been good so far. In quick recap - I was at my Dad's X-Mas eve and his wife Eva cooked Puerto Rican food and it was wonderful. X-Mas day I packed like a banshee. My friend Jeff came over for a little bit for motivation and I pretty much finished off the books and the storage closet, so that was exciting. I even purged 3 boxes of magazines! Trust me, for me that is a HUGE deal, heh. Work Friday was busy enough, but really pleasently slow. Dev had a fever Thur and was sneezing Fri so she went in to her ped with my Mom but he said she's just got a cold so no worries. Today's X-Mas with my Mom, work tomorrow, then I think I'm off again till Fri, but I gotta double check the schedule.
