Update addendum, heh
Like I said, I always forget something...
So, as I'd said, the Christkindlesmarkt was Sat, perfect weather, more shopping done. We saw a children's dance group perform, some younger girls and some older, and they each did a routine to a BNL Hanukkah song! SO cute :) Sunday it was grey and colder, and it snowed most of the day. But it was a light, big, fluffy, wet snow that wasn't really sticking. It was an almost perfect snowfall and I was really enjoying it. I did go to sleep to a light white night, and I woke up to a Winter Wonderland kinda Monday morning. We only got like 2 inches in Schaumburg (I hear the more north you went the more snow there was), but it was GORGEOUS, and it snowed teeny tiny pretty little snowflakes all day.
I *also* learned about Cyber Monday yesterday. It's my first time, even though it was first used in 2005, and I know I'm not the only one to have first learned about it yesterday. Since my prior engagement fell through I chatted with Liz for a while on the phone then I called Albie and he came over after work and we surfed some of th cyber sales. I *did* get some more shopping done :). Borders.com had 40% off ALL their DVDs. The Animal Rescue Site has 1 cent shipping, through today :). Etc, etc... so now I'm really almost COMPLETELY done shopping! I got a couple friends and work peoples left, I think, and the JFA show looks promising. This excites me, especially after last year's tears.
AND... last, but certainly not least, another new Devin thing. I... I think I have a girlie-girl on my hands. I know I posted the pic of her with her "purse" and her "bracelets", hehe. Well, now that she has, like, a couple inches of hair I've been kinda brushing it. She'll let me brush it some, then grab the brush and chew on the handle. No big. Well, it actually started Sunday. I was brushing her hair in the bathroom where she could see herself. She grabbed it, looked at it and me, then made the same motion I was, kinda brushing her own hair a couple times before she chewed the handle. Then Monday while Albie was here she found her brush and just walked around brushing her hair! It was SOOO cute. She brushes it up, so the few curls she has were everywhere ;). Then she went up and brushed ALBIE'S hair! *dies* Adorable, hehe. So, yeah. Girlie :D.
