Shorter BPAL list
Out of the 140 scents I picked in my ULTIMATE LIST, here are my current top 20 BPALs, in no real order:
JABBERWOCKY - An earthy yet buoyant scent: pine, eucalyptus and orange.
TITANIA - white grape, white peach, iced pear, musk rose, sweet pea, moonflower and snapdragon.
DRAGON'S HIDE - Dragon’s blood, leather and a hint of smoke.
BEWITCHED - blackberry, sage, green tea, wild berries and dark musk.
THE RED QUEEN - Deep mahogany and rich, velvety woods lacquered with sweet, black-red cherries and currant.
EDEN - fig leaf, fig fruit, honeyed almond milk, toasted coconut and sandalwood.
KILL-DEVIL - Sugar cane, molasses, oak wood, and honey.
TEMPEST - A crisp ozone-tinged breeze. The scent of the first gentle rain before the storm.
INFERNO - The Dark Side of Fire: cinnamon, bitter almond, and neroli. Heavily spiced, torrid, and possibly conflagrant.
AKUMA - Devilish temptation, as sweet as sin: blood orange, neroli, and raspberry.
CENTZON TOTOCHTIN - Bittersweet Mexican cocoa with rum, red wine, and a scent redolent of sacrificial blood.
COCKAIGNE - The Land of Plenty: milk and honey, sweet cakes and wine.
BLOOD KISS - Lush, creamy vanilla and the honey of the sweetest kiss smeared with the vital throb of husky clove, swollen red cherries, but darkened with the vampiric sensuality of vetiver, soporific poppy and blood red wine, and a skin-light pulse of feral musk.
DELIRIUM - Non compos mentis, indeed! A contrary, conflicted scent, bubbling with merry madness. Contains apple, rose, and lemon.
THE GREAT SWORD OF WAR - Mandarin, tonka, saffron, black tea, cocoa, tobacco leaf, sanguine red musk and five classical herbs of conflict.
TOMBSTONE - A rugged, warm blend of vanilla, balsam and sassafras layered over Virginia cedar.
ELEGBA - His ofrenda contains coconut, tobacco and sweet, sugared rum.
OBATALA - Obatala’s ofrenda is soft, white and pure: milk, coconut meat, shea butter and cool, refreshing water.
OSUN - Her ofrenda is thick with honey and herbs of love, passion and desire.
NOSTRUM REMEDIUM - Black tea leaf, invigorating wasabi extract, sweetened by honey.
The Carnaval isn't impable, but these are the ones I think I'm MOST interested in:
THE CANDY BUTCHER - Dark chocolate with a heavy cream undertone.
GENNIVRE, L'ARTISTE du DIABLE - Hyson tea leaf, pale mint, sugar cane, orange blossom, lemongrass, and honey.
ASP VIPER: Snake Oil with red mandarin, myrrh, and almond.
BOOMSLANG: Snake Oil with cocoa, teakwood, and rice milk.
GREEN TREE VIPER: Snake Oil with four mints, bergamot, and green tea.
SAW-SCALED VIPER: Snake Oil with cinnamon, cassia, and red ginger.
WESTERN DIAMONDBACK: Oil with leather, tonka bean, red sandalwood, and sage.
Smelly things are addicting.
AND... I might have to get one or 2 of these to make a scent locket!! I was told Michael's carries them too. *dies*
