BPAL reviews.

So, I finally tried Tzadikim Nistarim. I actually liked it. Going on wet it has this bright, fruity scent with an incense background, like really wet grapes (maybe the olive?). TOTALLY yum. It dried on me to what I was originally expecting, a very churchy incense smell, thanks to the frankincense. Of course, I don't know what spikenard, hyssop or galangal smell like, heh. And it LASTS... over 24 hours later I can still detect it. Not bad, I liked it better wet, but it was ultimately what I expected.

I did try Hellcat again, and oddly enough it turned to incense on me, heh. But it was a sweet, sugary incense, almost rummy, and even though it's not what it's supposed to smell like at all, I liked it yesterday. Nice, but not as advertized on me so prolly not big bottle material. Will have to try in a locket or an oil burner.

I wore Vice in my homemade scent locket today. I'm not sure it works well like a scent locket should (no holes), but it'll work for now. I could smell chocolate for a lot longer in there, even now hours later, though that flowery smell's coming through again that I'm not overly fond of. I'm hoping Gluttony's way more foodie and stays that way.

So... that's it for now! I can't WAIT for my new order to show up! I'm trying not to be impatient, but it's HARD, heh.

The current top 14, in no order and subject to change:
MISKATONIC UNIVERSITY - The scent of Irish coffee, dusty tomes and polished oakwood halls.
JABBERWOCKY - An earthy yet buoyant scent: pine, eucalyptus and orange.
TITANIA - white grape, white peach, iced pear, musk rose, sweet pea, moonflower and snapdragon.
DRAGON'S HIDE - Dragon’s blood, leather and a hint of smoke.
BEWITCHED - blackberry, sage, green tea, wild berries and dark musk.
THE RED QUEEN - Deep mahogany and rich, velvety woods lacquered with sweet, black-red cherries and currant.
EDEN - fig leaf, fig fruit, honeyed almond milk, toasted coconut and sandalwood.
PERSEPHONE - Pomegranate and rose.
KILL-DEVIL - Sugar cane, molasses, oak wood, and honey.
TEMPEST - A crisp ozone-tinged breeze. The scent of the first gentle rain before the storm.
INFERNO - The Dark Side of Fire: cinnamon, bitter almond, and neroli. Heavily spiced, torrid, and possibly conflagrant.
AKUMA - Devilish temptation, as sweet as sin: blood orange, neroli, and raspberry.
CENTZON TOTOCHTIN - Bittersweet Mexican cocoa with rum, red wine, and a scent redolent of sacrificial blood.
COCKAIGNE - The Land of Plenty: milk and honey, sweet cakes and wine.
