Mini Catchup
Overall it was a good weekend. I don't think I did anything on Friday except go to class and then come back home and be exhausted and lethargic all day. I remember that I didn't sleep well the night before. Oh wait! Sophia came over that night and hung out for a while! We watched The Road to El Dorado and a few episodes of Supernatural and generally hung out and had a nice time. It was really cool getting to catch up with her. ^^;; Even if we were both making out flashcards the majority of the time.
Saturday was mostly just staring at the weather channel and all the news coverage of the hurricane. I don't think I did anything all except go see Righteous Kill with Kiddo and Dad. It was okay. I kind of picked out the big plot twist right from the start, but I was entertained. I like anything about "partnerships" especially in law enforcement, so that part was fun.
After the movie let out, we drove to the OTHER movie theater out 71 past my neighborhood to ask about the TDK banner that we'd asked for back in May. I'd gone earlier in the summer to ask about it, but the same guy was never there and all this stuff, so long story short, I didn't think I'd get it. BUT HE WAS THERE AND HE SAID HE'S BEEN HOLDING IT FOR ME AT HIS HOUSE WAITING TO HEAR FROM ME. I apparently turned BEET red while talking to the guy and resisted the urge to hug him. (Dad actually DID hug him. XD;; GOOD TIMES THERE.) His name was Eddie and he was a young guy and kind of geek-cute. ^^;; I wish I hadn't looked so silly. He's going to bring it up to the theater on Tuesday so I'll get it from him then. Expect pictures and me freaking out.
That was actually my big event of the weekend. Sunday was pretty uneventful. I did homework and wrote half my English paper and was more or less fairly studious, even if I gave up towards the end of the day. I have a Spanish test on Wednesday AND that English paper due, but I have Monday afternoon/evening and all of Tuesday to get it all done, so I feel pretty confident about that.
Okay. Probably should have been in bed a while ago, so off to sleep I go. Hopefully this week goes smoothly!
