I might add, on reflection, too all you liberal whiners. There are Congressional elections coming up in 2006. You have elected officials in office right now. There are many things you can do to advance your agenda.

Worried about education? Stop whining about the president and go get involved in your local school board. Did you know school bond issues are one of the most important sources of funding for school districts? Yet these elections (which can happen at any time, not just with national elections) are historically the most ignored in our country. Take an active role to get school bonds and levys passed if you really want to help. Or VOLUNTEER in the schools for Christsake. They can use the help. You can make a direct difference to a kid if you volunteer as a tutor or mentor.

Worried about the environment? Go buy a fuel efficient car instead of getting that SUV you've been lusting after. Volunteer for a litter patrol. Get off your ass and take the time to recycle. Buy organic. There are lots of little things you can do to make a difference that don't require a Democrat in the White House.

The point is, national politics aren't the be all end all. So you're guy lost the election. So what? The saying "think globally, act locally" fits here. Instead of whining DO something in your community to help out.
