this is my life:
we made friendship bracelets last night on d3 and it was perfect. I had a rough day after I had re-read through this whole journal. a lot of it is STUPID STUPID STUPID but a lot of it is Jessica centered and that's hard. it's still hard. it sucks that it's still hard. Since an English major is potentially reading this maybe I should use correct grammar.
I started reading the bible in 90 days, this is my second day and I'm to Genesis 28:19. The Bible is CRAZY. ahhhh crazy.
Life is really great currently. I've been spending an hour in the prayer room every day in addition to my quiet time and it's been real good. D3 is learning about love and grace and acceptance all together lately and it's been sweet. This weekend was SUPER community centered and it ruled.All meals together, dinner with the boys (!!!) playing in the snow, praying together, playing a LOT of games together, laughing together, working together, and loving each other deeply. It was just what we needed. Part two coming this weekend!
I go to Guatemala in FIVE WEEKS. AHHHHH. FIVE WEEKS. I just told Amy and she freaked out with me. Good call.
My brobros and I have talked a lot recently and I'm tryin to be legit with Zach and be honest about my life. I told him I was listening to Modest Mouse and crying yesterday and he told me to be around people even though I didn't feel like I wanted to, a la' friendship bracelet making :)
My schedule rules , I have my quiet time in the caf every morning at 730 and eat toast, go to classes, and I'm done at 1, or 230. It's awesome. Afternoons are filled praying, coffee shopping, homeworking, then doing stuff at nights. I love it. Young Life rules and I'm the team leader and only girl and only person under the age of 32. No big deal, it's awesome.
