Xander leads Ori through the portal to Sunnydale and to his house. He unlocks the door to the sound of yelling. He walks in and into the kitchen where his parents are arguing. He pulls out a tape recorder, clicks it to record and then grins at Ori and whispers. "This is one of the only benefits of their fighting."
"Hey Mom, my friend Ori who happens to be a really pretty girl and not from this world is going to stay in our basement for an indetermined amount of time okay?" He asks.
She turns to Xander. "Yes, whatever, fine Xander, don't interrupt." She yells before turning back to her husband.
"Thanks mom." Xander says, clicking off the recorder and opens the basement door for Ori.
