Shopping and Arrivals (image-heavy post)
Last weekend I bought an (imitation) leather jacket!
I've been interested in leather clothing and leather jackets in particular for a while but never got one before (probably largely because leather's expensive). I've only had leather accessories before, so I'm pretty excited. ^^
It not at all coincidentally has a similar cut to this other jacket I have that I wear all the time. xD
I got TWO very exciting packages today!
#1: My Kisumai and Ebi calendars!
(Sadly my calendar was in the box weird and got bent T_T)
With how disappointed I've been in a lot of Kisumai's recent releases, I was really happy to hear that they were doing a daily calendar. I need something good from Kisumai and this was it. With as many pictures as they can put into this, they had bunches of solo shots and several shots of each combination of members. ^^ I'm very happy with the WataTai pictures and the anigumi pictures and the YokoFujiTama pictures. About YokoFujiTama, btw... I'm not aware of any other Kisumai fans who are fans of this trio? I've started mentally calling them the "power trio" for no good reason, but they're one of my favorite trios in Kisumai (even though Tama doesn't rank high for me amongst the members) because they're the three part of what I like to call the "true 3-4 split in Kisumai". xD And I like their dynamic and how they all have similar hobbies and hang out together outside of work. ♥ So if you're also a fan of the YokoFujiTama trio or know someone else who is, please let me know! ^^
Ebi calendar box!
These calendars come with space to write notes and dates and stuff in, but I don't think I'd actually be able to bring myself to write in them. >_< There's a function but I'm reluctant to use it because of my otaku nature!
This part of the Ebi calendar looks more like and is shaped more like a concert pamphlet than a calendar. ^^;
#2 Kisumai single and androp album!
I don't have time to listen to androp's album or watch the DVD for Hikari no Signal tonight, but I've listened to the Hikari no Signal CD, and... It's okay? Hikari no Signal is nice. I mean, it's a song for a children's movie and it kind of has to be pleasant-sounding without taking any risks. I was expecting Zutto~You are my Everything~ to be a generic ballad based on it's title, so I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. ^^ And from the title of Crush! Crush! Crush! I was expecting it to be more intense than it was? None of the songs were bad and they all had good parts but they all seemed a bit lacking at first listen. Zutto~You are my Everything~ kind of sounds like an intro to a party song that never gets to the party part. I've been listening to the single on repeat and it's nice and B-sides are kind of growing on me, but I'm not sure yet. :/
All in all, today was a pretty exciting day. ^_^
