I missed the preorder for Wild at Heart limited edition, but I was happy that Face Down and the Beautiful World dvd were released before I had to come back (but of course, they announce Your Eyes too and that's not released yet...) Seriously, at the store I went to, the preorders would be out in under a week for the limited editions of any of Arashi's stuff. Another story about that: when I went to get the dvd, it was the evening of the official release date (things usually came in the afternoon of the day before the release date), and the store had signs up saying that they were sold out of it for the time being. I could still get mine because I preordered, but damn, Arashi. Certainly worth it though, especially with Arashi no Waku Waku Gakkou. I also really love the pv of Face Down. I still can't get over Sho's pants in that pv. <3
Yes, I bought all 3 versions of Bari Bari Buddy. I don't regret it either, because if I didn't buy them all, I probably would've skipped on the Bari version, and that has such a funny pv. I bought the dvd because I saw the clip of Supernova from it online. Definitely a different feel from Arashi's concerts. I bought those two albums on sale at a Book-Off. It ended up only being 2000 yen total for both of them. So cheap
So yeah, I started getting into Kisumai last semester, but this semester I got really into them. I loved, really loved, to see them crossdressing for the watering kiss mint cms and then on the regular edition jacket. The fact that they named their concert tour after the product they are advertising and made the dvd jacket look like the packaging for kiss mint gum is all trumped by them crossdressing. I didn't buy those two versions of the album at the same time. I bought the 2 cd version when it first came out, and waited on buying another version. And then a month later I bought the cd+dvd version in time to have two sets of serial numbers for the goods present (which wasn't too exciting, but whatever). I thought about getting the regular edition too, but hahaha, money runs out if you spend it. I dled the two extra songs on it, but I only like one of them much, so I don't feel bad about it.
And now after I've covered all the Johnny's stuff... Spring of Life is a fun song, and I like the pv even if the ending makes me sad. T_T I like the lyrics of Communication but don't know as much how to feel about the music. And androp. Good single from them. They announced another a single just today. I'll probably wait and see if anything else I want will be released around the same time and order them together.
Manga
Natsume Yuujinchou 1-8. I think there were 5 more volumes to the end? But I was low on money the last month I was there. I'm sure I'll find some chance to buy the rest. Other manga I want to buy: Uchuu Kyoudai and Thermae Romae, because I was interested in seeing the movies for those, but money.
Magazines
So many magazines. Also, I cannot seem to hold a camera steady...
I wrote a translation for part of the Kisumai part of Monthly the Television, which I plan to post here after editing it.
I was pretty happy to see V6 on a magazine cover.
So the reason I bought so many magazines this semester is because I wanted to read a bunch of Kisumai interviews and talks. It was fun. That magazine on the bottom, H, has a lot of nice pictures in it. I don't know a lot about photography, but it looked really well done.
I strongly suspect that Wink up staff trolls the idols a lot of the time. And it is beautiful.
