Case in Point
Why do I love Gerard Way? I'll tell you why (it's a new reason too!). When told that William Beckett said he would've rather seen Jonas Brothers 3D over Watchmen after watching the latter and being asked his opinion on which movie one should see, Mr. Way responded with " I have no idea who William Beckett is but he is out of his mind. He is either messing with you or he hates you" . And that is why I love Gerard Way.
I'm totally gonna use that as an essay some day. Totally.
Also, how weird is it calling Gerard 'Mr. Way'? Waaayy weird (pun possibly accidentally intended). He's pretty much an honourary member of my family by now, formalities just don't swing. He's practically much the older brother/cool uncle/weirdly inapproriate dad/ kick-ass 17yrs-my-senior best friend (all of whom are unaware of my excistence) that I never had!!!
If you understood any of that, I applaud you.
Why did I put this picture? I have no idea. I like to do the unexpected, and picturing any of the two men discussed above would've been expected. So I chose a painting done by Sir Thomas Lawrence in 1823 featuring the Calmady children, Emily and Laura Anne. And, yes, I already had this on hand.
