ok so i had the most amazing dream ever last night.
i dreamt that jo and i drove to melbourne and on the way there we picked up a kitten we found. when we got to our hostel we looked out the window to see the entire city light up all at once and it was more insane than tokyo and there were people dressed up on the streets wearing colonial costumes and playing trumpets. but all this made our kitten very uncomfortable, so we dressed the kitten up in a bunny suit to make it feel more comfortable. (the bunny suit had the face cut out so you could still see the adorable kitten face).
then we opened the window of our hostel because it was a bit stuffy. the kitten in the bunny suit slipped out the window and slowly started backing to the edge of the window ledge almost intentionally. at the point where the kitten was going to fall of the edge to a certain doom, my dream paused and zoomed in to the kittens face, where i saw a look of pure fear. the dream resumed and the kitten fell. we both screamed and ran downstairs to see it.
downstairs outside, there were already throngs of mourners. hundreds of people sobbing over this kitten and snow had started to gently fall. i looked at the kitten and it was lying there with its hand over its heart and it had turned into a small child in a bunny suit instead of a kitten.
then i woke up.
