i've been thinking ahead to graduation and what i'll miss about northwestern/evanston/chicago. Setting aside the fact that i'm a huge dork and what i'll really miss most are my fun history classes, what will truly leave a huge gaping hole in my heart boils down to one thing: chipotle. i could live here just because it's a bigger city and as such has more resources, more shows (not that i go to shows), lynda barry, more bookstores, more everything. but if nashville had a chipotle, i think i could forget all those things. i can even forget that chipotle is owned by mcdonald's and i'm probably supporting a exploitative system. such consideratons get erased in the mystique of their guacamole.
i'm counting down the end of my college life in burritos. :(
