[ She has to forcible not question what she's doing when she sets off looking for vaguely familiar chakra signatures; in water, so maybe the shower -- the tub -- would be enough? ]
[Konan was lucky to have dragged herself into the bathtub for the time being, but it was obvious the furniture was too small for her. She was bent over the tub, hands carefully passing water over the new, delicate gills.]
[ Ah, now she does know where Konan's room is. Sakura doesn't know when she gets there, pinpointing Konan's location based on sound before anything else.
Oh goodness look a mermaid. Sakura gawks for a moment because -- mermaid! what is this fish lady -- before she sees the inherent problem with the bathtub and Konan's sheer size. ]
The lake or the water container on the roof?
[ She moves over to Konan, figuring out how the heck she's going to carry her to the nearest large body of water. Of course, she didn't have all that much time to dither. ]
[ Sakura tries for a half-hearted smile, ending up just looking determined and a bit perturbed. ]
Maybe, but they aren't here, are they?
[ And so the decision was made. It wouldn't be the most practical solution, but trying to carry Konan on her back with those... with that tail wasn't terribly feasible. Thank goodness for super strength, right? She'd figure it out. ]
Three floors up, versus six floors and an open expanse to the lake. Please excuse the familiarity.
[ Bridal style? Dead man's drag over the back? Looks like the former is more probable. ]
[ She really can't bring herself to smile, so she makes a noise of acknowledgment and starts off through the door. ]
Don't thank me until you're in the water.
[ She'd just, you know, never tell Naruto ever ever ever that she carted a member of the Akatsuki up three flights of stairs in her arms so they wouldn't die.
...Then again, Naruto would be the one to understand. Damn, was it just her hangups? Either way, it was running time. \o/ ]
[Considering her last memories of home, Konan could safely say that she had never expected such mercy from a member of Konoha. It was a kindness she respected, and wondered at. But then again...allies were far more important here than enemies.
Konan wasn't sure what to say, and staid quiet, keeping her breaths even, the wet cloth she clutched to her neck slowly trickling water through the thin gills.]

Then again, where are you -- and, ah. Should we get you to the lake?

Any...where.

I'm on my way. Somehow.

My door...it should be unlocked.

[Konan forced a wry, bitter sort of smile that faded to neutrality quickly.]
Whichever might be easiest to reach...

[Konan gaped in surprise, clutching the communicator close as she was hefted into Sakura's arms]
I...thank you, Haruno-san.
[Completely awkward but appreciative]

Just a little further. No guarantees that this isn't haunted.
[ Or otherwise inhabited. At the base of the ladder, she sighs. This will be fun! ]
