"I Finally Remembered You by xanfan27 takes an interesting premise, that Xander was the one who shared Angel's lost day as a human, and in the space of twenty-four hours, they found that passion outweighed hatred. Many people erroneously believe that Xander/Angel is an easy pairing to write. However, in order to do it well, the author must balance the relationship and ground it in its reality to make it palatable. Xanfan has given us a romantic coupling that is not without its problems, both internal and external, and that's a GOOD thing. The audience roots for the pairing, and understands that while love (hopefully) will conquer all, that doesn't mean it will remain unchallenged. Xanfan has crafted this story lovingly, and it comes through in her prose, and she should take pride in delighting her readers as she herself delighted in writing it."
