WTF? Who said this stuff to you? Do they not understand that losing weight requires eating healthy and exercise? And that doing either does not make one 'ill', or 'bulimic', it simply makes them a health conscious person which is a good thing IMO.
Also no need for anyone to be 'concerned' about the amount of weight you lost. The amount you lost is well within the healthy range for the time period it was lost in and for the weight you started at.
I mean if you said you lost 23 pounds in one week, or even two then yeah that would be a concern. But seriously... 23 pounds in two months is a difficult goal but not an unhealthy one.
I won't name names but no one you know. Just some people who passed by my journal from some of the local groups I'm part of.
I guess you're not allowed to be gay and lose weigh without having AIDS. It's like, can't someone just have some discipline and desire to no longer have his own gravitational field? I mean, really when you're warping the light around you, it's time to lose some weight. I probably shouldn't have ranted about it, but you are so right! It doesn't take a high IQ or much reading ability, but some people are so damn near sighted that they don't see beyond their own idiocy.
Sigh. It makes me feel weird about losing the weight but in a way that makes me feel like losing more. :-) hehe Just to prove to them that it's ok to lose a lot of weight and still be healthy.
I feel it's especially important to lose a lot of weight now that that researched have discovered that it's VERY unhealthy to be even a single pound overweight. It's like, you know muscle burns fat, and I may have been overweight but I gots some muscle to me as well so burning a vast amount of weight in a somewhat short amount of time has always been possible for me. When I'm done 'normalizing' at the current weight and go for the next bunch of pounds, it's going to be the same thing, I'll work out hard for a couple weeks with no results, then I'll drop the weight like hot wax.
You rock for being so understanding. But I think it also helps that you actually know me and know that while yes, technically I was clinically obese weight wise, I wasn't really 'obese' just over weight.

Yes some people lose weight from AIDs related illnesses, however weight loss in and of itself =/= AIDS.
For christ sakes read a fucking book, or look it up google people. I'm sure there is a wiki entry you could browse.
It doesn't require a high IQ or the ability to read above a 3rd grade level.
Logic Much? @#$@#
